Oil fields and eight massive refineries that surrounded Ploesti, Romania, spread over about eighteen square miles. The Germans depended on Ploesti for it's huge quantities of fuel. The 93rd BG was involved in a campagin to destory the oil fields. Crews watched this film to get familiar with the terrain and targets.
