On May 3, 2005 thirteen 93rd veterans plus family members, a group of 50, traveled to England for the 60th anniversary of VE Day. They visited Framlingham Castle, the 2nd Air Division Memorial Library in Norwich, the American Air Museum in Britain at Duxford, Cambridge American Cemetery at Madingley and Hardwick Airfield. They attended a memorial service at Topcroft Church and enjoyed fish and chips with British friends at Hardwick.
